Parts are listed for the year of the transmission

swapped)! Here is how to identify which "series" you have.
1950-52 has NO governor and a diaphragm modulator, 1953-54 HAS a
governor and a diaphragm modulator, 1955-57 has a governor but NO
modulator, and 1958-62 has a governor and a screw-in canister modulator. (9) You must E-mail me to tell me the thickness of your gear to make sure I send you the proper thickness gear. (10) New speedometer housing for Chevrolet Cast Iron Powerglide transmissions used from 1955-1957. These housings have been reproduced and include an internal metal clad seal which the original design housings did not include, which is why they develop leaks over time. The housing measures 2-5/8" overall length. Includes the external o-ring seal and the internal metal clad seal. (11) New speedometer housing for Chevrolet Cast Iron Powerglide transmissions used from 1955-1957. These housings have been reproduced and include an internal metal clad seal which the original design housings did not include, which is why they develop leaks over time. The housing measures 2-5/8" overall length. Includes the external o-ring seal and the internal metal clad seal and a new red 21 tooth speedometer gear. (12) Rebuildable core must arrive back to me within 30 days of your receipt of parts or core refund will be forfeited. PLEASE return pump cores. They are becoming scarce and I MAY not be able to get them in the future if I can't get the cores to my supplier to be repaired. (13) Cast Iron Powerglide converter cover to flex plate nut. Applications include 1955-1961 Chevrolet cars, trucks, and Corvette These work with the converter cover that has the rectangle holes. They do not fit applications that used the round holes in the cover.
